New Bike For 2021 | BLOGMAS No. 22

This is a present from my parents, and I have had my white and pink beach cruiser Huffy since I was in high school! Over ten years! WOW! Well the bike was starting to look dated and the color way seemed a bit too immature to me. I had added a basket, a bell, and it had been with me through so much.

My parents so kindly gifted me not only one but two bikes! My mom and dad had differing opinions on the kind of bike that I would like so they each picked one. Of course, I LOVE THEM BOTH. In different ways they are both me.

My dad picked a Huffy 24" Womens Nel Lusso Cruiser Mint Bike with tan accents and tan wheels, it has a rear storage stand, a front basket, and a cup holder. It is great for cruising and a newer improved version of my old bike, it is a little bit less intrusive than my old one meaning it takes up less space it is a bit shorter length wise but such a beauty. This one however does not have gears like my old beach bike and is only reverse brakes so not ideal for hills.

My mom on the other hand chose a pink road bike it is drop dead beautiful bike, It has one pink wheel one white wheel and is super light made for commuting. So I guess you could say I will be losing weight on just using my bikes alone. I couldn't find the exact name for it or a link but below is a similar picture this one I unfortunately do not keep at my apartment as it is pricier so it lives at my parents garage. I will update with a photo of it soon.

The reason for this change, well my parents decided I needed an update since my husband got a Super 73 recently and if you do not know it is an electric bicycle that looks like an electric motorcycle. It is quite funny but he has a tan Super 73 and he has a white mountain bike that my parents gifted him when we were in our last year of university. It was supposed to match my beach bike but it is okay, now we have all the colors and two bikes each lol. I hope you treat yourself to something that will allow you to be out more as 2020 was the year of being indoors and not going anywhere not seeing anyone I really hope that in 2021 we can all change that enjoy being outdoors a whole lot more!

Xoxo,
