Decorating For The Holidays | BLOGMAS No. 5

Decorating these holidays just doesn't seem right. It's like when you get all dressed up to go to on a date but your date isn't all that cute and you wasted a perfectly good outfit and makeup day, lets not even bring in the hair. To me where I live the holidays will most likely be shutdown. My parents and I are still planning on having a Christmas dinner at my apartment but we live in the same city. My little sister doesn't understand a lot and has been doing online school since last spring. This will be the first Christmas where extended family won't be flying in or they won't be going out.

We will still be doing some Christmas traditions and one of those will be decorating our apartment so that we can host Christmas dinner and our yearly movie night.

A huge part of it will be the tree and this will allow us to have a very festive look, last year we didn't do a tree because we were traveling to see family on Chase's side and then my parents as well. The year before we had our first Christmas in our apartment and wanted a true Christmas feel so we went for all red. this year we are going to be doing all silver or white.

My mom so graciously bought us a silver pillow and donated us some of her extra baubles so that we didn't have to spend too much money on our tight budget. a quick and easy way to change the feel of your living room is garland, a fireplace image on your tv, Christmas lights, and pillow covers!

I will be linking what we are using down below and once our tree is finished I will add in our final finished photos for the perfect budget friendly decor.
