I hope this post finds you well, I wanted to sort break the fourth wall for a minute and ask you how you were doing today? I hope you had a good day whether it was productive or relaxing as long as it was good for your soul and your heart.
In today's topic I will be reviewing the most popular Beis Cosmetic Case, this product is unique in its market. There are no other brands that have a zippy case just quite like it with the integreated brush storage, magnetic closure, stand up mirror with pocket, and the unique access to all of your items due to the layout of the case. The exact details from the beis website are down below.
The case retails for $58 USD and is carried by the Beis website, Nordstrom, or Ulta Beauty. Depending on where you live or where you like to shop is depending on the better offer you'll be able to receive. Over all I wouldn't say one place to buy is better than the other. I got mine from the Beis website and I have the Brown Crocodile that was limited drop last year. Since, I've had mine for a year I thought I'd be able to give you a true review as to whether it stands up to my other faves or not.
Here are the links where you can purchase it!
The Beis cosmetic case is great if you are going on a trip for over a week, or have several different looks you want to achieve and need more than usual makeup. If it is a short trip you might be able to fit your skin care minis and makeup in the case. Over all, the construction of the bag has survived very well, with an exception of the handle that in my suitcase has squished up against something and cause a minor crack or crease. It is super easy to clean up and has the ability to fit almost anything you can imagine I did not have a problem fitting a palette or foundation or even brush!
Now lets compare it! My favorite makeup case for travel is the Trish McEvoy medium case, the Lancome stackable case, and a Prada zippy case. Now in relation to those the Beis is the biggest one, and can fit the most. However, I am not convinced that is a plus, hear me out. When I am travelling I like to only bring the basics, and pack my makeup in my carry on item or purse. This case is so big that I actually had to rethink my packing method because it took up so much space in my carry on. I did keep it in my carry on just because when you travel the cabin is pressure regulated and temperature regulated where as the deck below where the suitcases are store is not so anything can pop, break, or crack as the pressure and temperature changes. Therefore, it kind of threw me off as I was glad to be able to fit so much but bummed that it was so big if that makes sense? I didn't really end up using everything so I liked the simplicity of my smaller bags.
My absolute favorite is the pink Prada, I use it every time I travel. It is small but mighty it fits all of my essentials with no worries. The Lancome one is great to travel with but I end up using it more as a daily makeup case, where my daily used items live in at home. I've only traveled with it a few times due to its bulky nature. Now my all time fave, the Trish McEvoy medium planner. These can get to be on the pricier side as they often times come with makeup inside of them if you buy a limited edition one. Or you can opt to simply buy the planner and add to it as you see fit. I have the red medium planner that came out two years ago it is gold with cream on the inside as I didn't like the silver with black interior but it is a nice leather on the outside that hasn't scuffed or come apart in any way. It is great for every day, for short trips, or even longer ones!
Over all, the Beis Case is great for the price, the quality of it is not as good as the Prada or Trish McEvoy but they are also a higher price point and smaller. It is on par with the Lancome Case and around the same price, size and quality. I have linked below the alternatives and pictures of them.
Trish McEvoy PlannerI hope I helped you make a decision or introduced you to something you haven't seen before. Either way I wish you happy shopping!
Xoxo,
