One of my favorite lipsticks was given to me by Chase on our honeymoon. It is my most prized lipstick because of this. He has a very good eye. He chose the brand YSL because he knows that is my favorite brand. YSL to me embodies elegance. It is such a classic, well respected brand. I always feel so fancy when I take this lipstick out of my bag to reapply it. The packaging is to die for and the quality is amazing. It always glides on and feels amazing.
The color in particular is also my favorite, it is a barbie pink that could pass as a nude if I use some MAC Whirl lip liner on top. Or it could also look very fresh and natural if you just dab it on and apply some rich chapstick on top.
This quote by YSL is the quote on my instagram page if you haven't noted yet. I will translate it for you. "Without elegance of the heart, there is no elegance." This quote by YSL resonated with me and still does. If we cannot be elegant through our actions and how we affect people how can you achieve elegance through any other form. Elegance isn't an object it is an aura, a vibe that someone has.
